Founder story and work life balance recap
Following up on our Asian Executives Series, we had the chance to talk with one of the founders of Reactron Technologies Ltd. – a software provider business with the aim to help businesses thrive and scale in their fields by delivering premium and customizable technological services.
During this 2-hour event, we invited Mr. Trung Nguyen, Co-founder & CEO of Reactron Technologies Ltd., to share his entrepreneurial journey in Finland along with his experience in maintaining a work-life balance.
Trung arrived in Finland 17 years ago searching for opportunities in his field of information technology. Having worked in various tech positions in many companies like Startcut, Mixem Solutions Ltd., Witrafi, and Cleverday since 2006, Trung graduated with an engineering master’s degree from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in 2013. Until 2019, he decided to start his new chapter with his friend – Hai Luong, to launch Reactron Technologies Ltd, with great support from his wife and two little daughters.

After 13 years of working as a senior developer, not only has Trung built a comprehensive network, but he has also acquired a solid understanding of the Finnish tech market and recognized a huge demand for software solutions. The creation of Reactron Technologies Ltd. came naturally since then, especially when he met Hai Luong – also a co-founder of Reactron. And that’s also the time when he decided to step out of his comfort zone and started his own company.
And just like any entrepreneurs and startup founders, Trung also finds troubles that stress him out while running his business. Miscommunication and misunderstanding between Reactron and its customers are one of them since he believes that trust is the prominent key when it comes to business building and implementation. However, no matter how arduous the journey is, his wife has always been there with him. “The important thing is that I am willing to share everything with her. Sharing is caring, and I believe that is the key for a lasting and healthy marriage.” – Trung said.
During the event, Trung also talked about his experience in managing the balance between being an entrepreneur, a husband, and a father. Even though the entrepreneurial life is sometimes busy and tiring, Trung spends his whole free time with the children, especially the younger 3-year-old. He also enjoys playing golf with other Reactron’s team members as a way to relax, as well as to build a cozy working environment.
At the end of the session, all VPF members and the speaker had a chance to network with each other. In a team of about 4-5 people, we shared our experience as well as problems when finding the balance between work and life. At the same time, lots of insights into business and working life were shared since all VPF members are from different backgrounds.
